when we moved to Boston twenty-one months ago {can you believe its been almost two years?!?} during one of our first trips out shopping we discovered a Roster store. instantly, we were all fans – especially my husband! ROSTER carries leading sports lifestyle brands such as 47 Brand, Mitchell & Ness, Touch by Alyssa Milano, Old Time Hockey, Adidas, Nike, New Era, Majestic, Original Retro Brand, and more. it’s fashionable; high-quality merchandise features all of Boston’s favorite professional sports teams: Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics!

through-out this post, you can see some of our favorite apparel selections for this season. while sports apparel has been historically geared toward the male audience, Roster carries a wide selection for women, and kids! for men, they offer something that’s a significant upgrade from your typical licensed apparel.

“Until now, most licensed product has been sold through your average sporting goods stores,” said Tom Emmons, Executive Vice President, ROSTER. “Today’s sports apparel merchandisers want to sell their more fashionable lines in boutiques. That’s where Roster comes in, its America’s first Sports Lifestyle store”

$150 MINTED valentine art print giveaway

one of my favorite events at alt summit is the “sponsor dinners.” on the eve before classes and all the party-ing begins, alt sponsors and the best restaurants in salt lake city host complimentary dinners for groups of alt attendees. you get a great meal and a chance to hang out with some of your favorite blogging buddies.

this year, i wanted to meet and mingle with the talented people from minted, so i signed-up for their sponsored dinner at cucina tuscana. minted went above and beyond with the decorations, menu choices, custom notebooks for each guest, and of course the company!

if you haven’t visited minted before, allow me to introduce you to an amazing custom card-inviation-party resource. minted has an endless amount of styles to chose from, all created by independent designers who receive a portion of each sale. every design can be customized to fit your color scheme and is printed on paper so pretty you won’t be able to put it down. in the past year, i used minted for sela’s birthday invitations and our christmas cards {i didn’t blog about those – but i will one of these days!}

right now, minted has classroom valentines that you can order and have your kiddos hand-out at school! a set of 15 start at only $16. {if you order them TODAY, you can still receive them by 2/13!}

in honor of cupids holiday, i am thrilled to be partnering with minted to give one seejaneblog reader an 11×14 valentine art print, framed! this generous gift is valued at $150! to enter, simply visit the minted website, check out their valentine art – leave a comment below telling me which one is your favorite, and one winner will be announced via random.org on friday morning, February 8th! i am especially crushing on these three: one, two, three. i also adore the valentine card shown above that can be folded in to a little origami heart. when you place your order from minted, have high expectations, because they are ready to impress you.

happy browsing and best of luck! xo.

kiwi crate :: pop-up valentines

hey friends. happy martin luther king day! i am posting from a salon in utah while i sit with my laptop on my lap and tin foils all over my head! getting my hair done is one of my favorite things ever. you?

last week, kiwi crate sent us their valentine crate, and i wanted to start the week off by sharing the details with you! first, this crate full of crafty goodies was the perfect distraction for my sela when i was packing for Alt. Summit. she does not like her momma leaving her and i was having a hard time getting anything done with her tugging at my leg!

happy mail saved the day!

what i like the most about kiwi crate is after sela opens the crate, and i give her a few simple instructions for the project, she can do it all on her own…

sela was having so much fun. she would make a pop-up valentine, write a personal message, and immediately run the cards to her friends on our street. {why wait till february 14th?}  i adore the little robot with googly eyes, isn’t it cute?!?  if you want to make homemade valentine’s, but avoid the task of gathering supplies, this crate is the answer!

*new to me*

in monday tradition, i am sharing something with you that is ‘new to me’, today that includes introducing one of my friends. julia blake.

julia is one of the first women i met when we moved to massachussetts last year. and she is one of the most involved-in-her-community women i know. from local politics to school council to being the ultimate football momma, this mother of six – five sons and one daughter is a talented woman. (everyone needs a julia in their life when they move to a new city!) as our lives have crossed throughout the past year, we’ve shared many a conversation about what we’re both currently working on – what our latest craft craze is etc. yet, Julia never mentioned to me that she could paint until recently! in fact, it was entirely *new to me* when i found out she not only paints, but she takes commissioned projects – portraits, landscapes!  she’s brilliant with her paint brush!

as soon as i found out julia did portraits, look what she painted for our family! using one of the photos from our shoot with blue lily photography {shown below}, she created a 14 x 18 masterpiece of my kiddos walking up this wall of rocks. i absolutely adore it.

the best part? julia is now a seejaneblog sponsor {see the button on the right?!?}, and is offering a very generous giveaway to one seejaneblog reader! one winner will receive an 11×14 portrait including up to three people valued at $220! original art is one of my favorite things to give and receive as gifts. and Julia’s acrylic work is beautiful! wouldnt this be fun to surprise someone with at christmas? this painting may be just what you need to inspire a gallery wall!

how does this giveaway work?

you can enter up to three times!

1: Go to the ‘contact’ link of Julia’s website and fill out the information about yourself + share which painting you like the best in the comments.

2: Follow Julia on instagram {@blakezoo} and “like” at least one of her paintings.

3: “Like” Julia Blake art on Facebook and “like” at least one painting.

Leave a comment {or three!} below for each time you can enter, winner* will be announced at the bottom of this post on Monday, November 26th! good luck!

*the winner will choose a picture – a high resolution digital photo, and send it to Julia. she will consult with you, whether the photo is a good choice or not, and then paint it! talk about an heirloom! {the winner can up grade to larger size or more people at an additional charge}

congratulations, catherine! start searching for the perfect picture for julia to paint! xo.

*new to me*

happy monday friends — this week is going to be a good one! do you feel it? lets conquer together!

today i am sharing with you a darling online boutique i discovered recently — and although the shop is based out of the UK, the owner of the shop is originally from Boston, so we have a little kinship going on…

introducing: little citizens boutique

i was looking through the site trying to pick a few favorites to share with you — when i realized how MANY i was picking! i couldn’t stop! and of course you can look for yourselves, but here are a six of the hundred items i am drooling over:

ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR | FIVE | SIX

this is a great shop to browse for christmas selections. i know i could easily take care of everything for sela, and so many of the little citizens in our life!

i’d also like to give little citizens boutique a warm welcome to seejaneblog, you can find the shop button listed on the sidebar as a sponsor.  you should know - despite little citizens boutique being based in the UK, with the way the internet and shipping works,  it’s super easy to order from them. i like the selection because they carry a lot of brands that are well-designed or very rare to the US: Moulin Roty, Djeco (coming soon!), Esencia, Dis Une Couleur, Le Toit de la Lune, Janod…

cheers to a great week!

image by me. this is a sponsored post, if you have a shop or product that you think would be a good fit for seejaneblog and are interested in a sponsorship, i’d love to hear from you! email me at jane@prolook.com for more information.

*new to me*

i really appreciate, and enjoy a good spa day, so when my niece {Heather Johnson} gave me a gift certificate for a 50-minute massage + a luxury pedicure at the spa club where she works – i was stoked! a mom has to relax, right?!?

The Spa club that is *new to me* has three locations in Salt Lake City. While I was in Utah, I stopped by the Jordan Landing location for both of my services. i loved how clean and new the spa was – there is something magical about walking in to a calm place where you can retreat after a crazy day or week. amen?!?

the massage was absolutely incredible – who doesn’t want to spend 50 minutes getting oil massaged all over your body? my favorite part of a massage is that i feel like i am taking care of my body – giving it a little preventative love. if you are in the SLC area, give the spa club a call & request my niece! she splits her time between two of the locations. {tell her jane sent you!} the nice thing about the spa club – they offer everything! hair, nails, waxing, massages, special treatments and they sell some of my favorite body products.

plus, the deluxe european pedicure with aromatherapy was the most amazing pedicure i have ever had! i mean, she rubbed orange slices on my feet. and used a hot stone. plus a brown sugar scrub. my feet are still glowing from all the attention!

my final recommendation: run, don’t walk!

{photo by me – me getting the indulgent pedicure!}

* i was given the gift certificate by the spa club to share a review on seejaneblog. all thoughts and opinions are mine. if you have a product that you think would be a great fit on this blog for a review, please email me at: jane@prolook.com
