liking what you do is happiness via seejaneblog

enjoy the weekend! here in massachusetts, our kids are starting their february vacation. they have the next nine days off! one of my myla’s best friends is flying out from utah to spend the week with us, so we are having a stay-cation. it’s good to have visitors because it encourages us to get out and sight see! any recommendations for things we should see or do around boston that we have maybe not done yet? do you have any plans?

cheers to happiness! xo.

this motivates me. do you know the story of julia child? if you do, let me remind you that she was 37 years old when she started cooking. 37! i am going to be 37 on my next birthday in january, and with the inspiration of julia child + the fact my youngest baby is going to be in school full-time next year i am itching to continue my dreams. i think about this almost twenty-four hours a day. have you given up on your dreams? or are you living them? something to chew on today.

happy friday!

if you read my post below, then you will realize {along with me} how appropriate that in the happiness project, Novembers chapter is titled, keep a contented heart {regardless of how messy your life feels!}. after spending most of the year focusing on actions, now focus on attitude. gretchen’s focus:

* laugh out loud – did you know a small child typically laughs more than four hundred times a day, and an adult – seventeen times. do you hit seventeen?

* use good manners.

* give positive reviews – giving positive reviews requires humility.

* find an area of refuge.

what will your focus be?

have a lovely weekend – and check the BonLook post below for a winner! xo.
